Post title: 'Slut Defender.' If it's such a hateful slur, then why defend it, dumbass? Why hold stupid events like slutwalks and shriek about reclaiming the title of slut while you shriek about how hateful it is? Feminists bitch about objectification while referring to other women as broodmares, sperm incubators etc., then objectify themselves by calling themselves slut defenders like this moron. Let's play the perpetual victim while we victimize ourselves. No wonder feminism has an identity crisis.
Funny aside: I now have three copycats. I must be getting to them. Woot.

ReplyDeleteSlut certainly can be used as a hateful slur, just like the word 'bastard', but it can *also* be used as a valid discription, against just like bastard. I've known my share of bastards in this day and age, and I've known my share of sluts. And I've known yerks who have applied the terms as slurs towards people who were neither. It's stupid when people object to accurate descriptions of themselves. Don't want to be called something? Don't *be* that. Jerks, unfortunately, you can't do much about and will toss whatever terms they want about, and all the walks, talks, and 'reclaiming' won't stop *that*.
